Mr. Deane has spent the past two decades in the water industry with a focus on water resources, infrastructure development and general water investing. Prior to co-founding Water Asset Management LLC, he co-founded and held senior management positions as the President of Layne Water Development & Storage (a joint venture with Layne Christensen Company: LAYN:NASD) and as Senior Vice President of VidlerWater Company (a subsidiary of Pico Holdings: PICO:NASD). In 2011, Mr. Deane joined the Board of Advisors of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University. Mr. Deane began his professional career with Lazard in Paris and in London. Mr. Deane graduated from Duke University in 1982 and from I.N.S.E.A.D in 1985.
Mr. Diserio has spent over three decades in long/short fund management, securities analysis, and sales. Before co-founding Water Asset Management LLC, he was portfolio manager of Schafer Cullen Small Cap LP and of Diserio Partners LP. Prior to that, Mr. Diserio was a general partner and portfolio manager at Water Street Capital. He spent the previous 12 years as a senior equity analyst covering Special Situations at PaineWebber and in institutional equities sales at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. Mr. Diserio graduated from Bowdoin College in 1981 with a BA in Government and History.
Since 2006 Mr. Robert has been Chief Operating Officer and a Partner at Water Asset Management, a global investor in water companies and assets ensuring water availability and quality. Prior to joining Water Asset Management LLC, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, a member of the Equity Capital Commitment Committee, North American Equity Management Committee, and the Equity Research Stock Selection Committee. Mr. Robert is presently the Board Chair of WaterAid America, a global charity focused on providing access to safe water and sanitation and a trustee of Sylvester Manor Educational Farm in Shelter Island NY. He graduated from Brown University in 1982 with a BA in Religious Studies
Ambassador Bohn is Chairman and Co-Founder of Globalnet Venture Partners, LLC, a global strategic and financial advisory company providing counsel on international development and investment. Ambassador Bohn recently completed his 6 year term as Commissioner of the California Public Utilities Commission, a constitutional agency of the State of California, which regulates private electricity, gas, telephone, and water companies. From 1989 to 1996, Ambassador Bohn served as President and CEO of Moody’s Investors Service and was previously the U.S. Ambassador and Executive Director at the Asian Development Bank under the Reagan Administration.
Hasan is an Investment Analyst at Water Asset Mgmt., following the Global Utilities Industry for the Public Equity Investing team. He has over 20 years of experience in both traditional and alternative asset management firms, including Scudder Investments ($300Bln AUM global asset manager); L.S Power (specialized asset manager in Utilities, Power & Renewables) and with the Utility Investment Research team at Citigroup.
Hasan graduated with BA in Economics, magna cum laude, from Queens College (City University of New York). He is also a CFA charterholder.
Matthew Ketellapper has been with Water Asset Management (“WAM”) since 2011. He began his career at WAM, as an intern reviewing water bonds and performing research which lead to a five year run as an analyst primarily focused on private equity deals in the western United States with responsibilities including financial modeling, research, and analysis. Currently, he is WAM’s Asset Manager in Colorado and is focused on acquiring and developing water properties throughout the state. Mr. Ketellapper graduated from the University of Colorado in May 2011 where he obtained a BS in Finance with a Minor in Economics.
Ms. Kincaid has more than a decade of experience in transaction execution, debt and equity financing, real asset development, and operational control and oversight. Prior to Water Asset Management, Ms. Kincaid was a Principal in the Private Capital Solutions group of Madison Williams, Managing Director of Fund Portfolio for the private equity firm VinaCapital Group, Vice President at placement agent Probitas Partners, and has held other legal and real estate development positions. Ms. Kincaid received a JD and MBA from Pepperdine University after obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. She is a member of the California Bar, the United States Patent and Trademark Bar, and holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. She is also a California Real Estate Broker, a licensed General Contractor, and LEED certified.
Mr. Kirincich has more than 25 years of accounting and corporate controller experience. Prior to joining Water Asset Management LLC, he was Controller at Prentice Capital Management, LP, a long/short equity hedge fund, where he was responsible for the financial and operational aspects of various investment funds. Prior to that, he was Vice President at Brinson Patrick Securities Corporation, a Broker/Dealer and has held financial positions with a registered investment advisor and an asset management firm. He received his MBA in Finance from Pace University and a BS in Accounting from Fordham University.
Mr. Markley has over a decade of work experience as an equities analyst. The past 8 years, he has covered the water infrastructure stocks at Water Asset Management, LLC. Before joining WAM, Mr. Markley had four years of long/short experience, where he spent his time as a generalist that transitioned into a focus on industrials. Mr. Markley is a CFA Charterholder and graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Finance with high distinction.
Prior to joining Water Asset Management, Mr. Ruckdaschel was the Director of Acquisitions and Development at RMCI Group, Inc., a single family and custom home builder, where he identified, analyzed and structured real estate acquisitions. In addition he was responsible for managing the firm's Environmental Impact reporting. Prior to RMCI Group, Inc, Mr. Ruckdaschel was a research associate as The CoStar Group, Inc. He graduated from The University of New Mexico with a BA in Economics.
Mr. Vasquez manages WAM’s water and farmland investments in Arizona and as Managing Director oversees WAM’s private equity team. He has been an active participant in water markets and policy debates for more than a decade, which currently includes an elected position on a Colorado River irrigation district board of directors. Prior to joining WAM, Mr. Vasquez worked in real estate development/investment, which also included extensive work on water rights transactions as well as management of regulated water/wastewater utilities. Mr. Vasquez holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Arizona with a focus on land use and water resource management.
Vashti joined Water Asset Management, LLC (WAM) in 2020 as the Accounting Office Manager. Prior to WAM, Vashti worked as a Finance Associate at The Silverfern Group where she assisted in all financial operations of the company.
Vashti graduated with BBA in Public Accounting, magna cum laude, from Monroe College.
Prior to joining Water Asset Management, Mr. Ashley was Legal Counsel and Land Manager at BHCH Mineral, a private investor in land and water assets in Texas where he identified, executed both acquisitions and divestitures Prior to that Mr. Ashley held several legal clerk positions focused on matters relating to water, environmental, and public utility issues. He received a JD from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2016 and a BA in Government and Certified Business Foundations from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business in 2013.
Prior to joining Water Asset Management Ms. Stephens was a principal with Stephens Consulting working on state and local policy initiatives in land and water matters in the state of Nevada. Prior thereto Ms. Stephens was a Senior Policy Advisor at Brownstein Hyatt Farber and Schreck focused on the Nevada state legislature from 2016 to 2019. From 2007 to 2009 Ms. Stephens was the Legislative Director for the Governor of the State of Nevada and prior to that she was Rural Director for US Congressman, Jim Gibbons. She received a BA in Political Science from the University of Nevada in 1999.
Prior to joining Water Asset Management Ms. Heitkamp was Senior Vice President for Impact at Pipeline Foods, a global non-GMO, organic and regenerative food producer. Ms. Heitkamp was responsible for corporate impact, farm-level (Farm Profit Program), and food company-focused (Ag Impact) sustainability programs. Prior to Pipeline Ms. Heitkamp was Global Sustainability Practice Leader at Wenck, a sustainability consulting firm. Prior to that Ms. Heitkamp was Manager of Climate Strategy at Delta Air Lines. Ms. Heitkamp received a Master of Environmental Management from Yale and a B.S., Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
Angie is an analyst at Water Asset Management, LLC (WAM). He joined the team as a summer intern in 2018, and returned to WAM as a full-time analyst in August 2020. Prior to WAM, Angie worked as an investment banking analyst at Berkshire Global Advisors, where he was focused on M&A execution in the investment management and securities industries.
Angie graduated from Middlebury College in 2019 with a BA in Economics. Originally from Stowe, VT, he is based in the New York City office.
Linnea is an analyst at Water Asset Management. She holds an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, where she focused on water management and sustainable finance, and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California. Linnea previously worked in private wealth management at Ellevest, a women’s focused investing platform. Born and raised in Northern California, she is currently based in New York City.
