Mr. Deane has spent the past two decades in the water industry with a focus on water resources, infrastructure development and general water investing. Prior to co-founding Water Asset Management LLC, he co-founded and held senior management positions as the President of Layne Water Development & Storage (a joint venture with Layne Christensen Company: LAYN:NASD) and as Senior Vice President of VidlerWater Company (a subsidiary of Pico Holdings: PICO:NASD). In 2011, Mr. Deane joined the Board of Advisors of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University. Mr. Deane began his professional career with Lazard in Paris and in London. Mr. Deane graduated from Duke University in 1982 and from I.N.S.E.A.D in 1985.
Mr. Diserio has spent over three decades in long/short fund management, securities analysis, and sales. Before co-founding Water Asset Management LLC, he was portfolio manager of Schafer Cullen Small Cap LP and of Diserio Partners LP. Prior to that, Mr. Diserio was a general partner and portfolio manager at Water Street Capital. He spent the previous 12 years as a senior equity analyst covering Special Situations at PaineWebber and in institutional equities sales at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. Mr. Diserio graduated from Bowdoin College in 1981 with a BA in Government and History.
Mr. Robert has spent over 25 years in the equity investment industry. Prior to joining Water Asset Management LLC, he was managing director at Morgan Stanley and head of U.S. equity research sales. Mr. Robert managed 95 salespeople in 10 international offices, selling equity research, capital markets products, prime brokerage services, derivatives, and swaps to 500 institutional accounts. While at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Robert was a member of the Equity Capital Commitment Committee, North American Equity Management Committee, and the Equity Research Stock Selection Committee. Prior to that, Mr. Robert spent 15 years in Europe (London and Paris) as an institutional salesperson for both U.S. and European equities at Morgan Stanley and PaineWebber. Mr. Robert graduated from Brown University in 1982 with a BA in Religious Studies.
Ambassador Bohn is Chairman and Co-Founder of Globalnet Venture Partners, LLC, a global strategic and financial advisory company providing counsel on international development and investment. Ambassador Bohn recently completed his 6 year term as Commissioner of the California Public Utilities Commission, a constitutional agency of the State of California, which regulates private electricity, gas, telephone, and water companies. From 1989 to 1996, Ambassador Bohn served as President and CEO of Moody’s Investors Service and was previously the U.S. Ambassador and Executive Director at the Asian Development Bank under the Reagan Administration.
Mr. Doza has more than a decade of financial investment analysis experience. Prior to joining Water Asset Management LLC, he was an equity analyst at Citigroup in the power and utility group. Before that, he was an analyst for Luminus, a long/short utility fund. Mr. Doza has a BA from Queens College and is a CFA charterholder.
Matthew Ketellapper has been with Water Asset Management (“WAM”) since 2011. He began his career at WAM as an intern reviewing water bonds and performing research and is now an analyst primarily focused on private equity deals in the western United States. More specifically, Mr. Ketellapper’ s responsibilities include financial modeling, research, and analysis. Mr. Ketellapper is based out of WAM’s San Francisco office. He graduated from the University of Colorado in May, 2011 where he obtained a BS in Finance with a Minor in Economics.
Ms. Kincaid has more than a decade of experience in transaction execution, debt and equity financing, real asset development, and operational control and oversight. Prior to Water Asset Management, Ms. Kincaid was a Principal in the Private Capital Solutions group of Madison Williams, Managing Director of Fund Portfolio for private equity firm VinaCapital Group, Vice President at placement agent Probitas Partners, and held other legal and real estate development positions. Ms. Kincaid received a JD and MBA from Pepperdine University and undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. She is a member of the California Bar, the United States Patent and Trademark Bar, and holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. She is also a California Real Estate Broker and licensed General Contractor as well as LEED certified.
Mr. Kirincich has more than 20 years of accounting and corporate controller experience. Prior to joining Water Asset Management LLC, he was Controller at Prentice Capital Management, LP, a long/short equity hedge fund, where he was responsible for the financial and operational aspects of various investment funds. Prior to that, he was Vice President at Brinson Patrick Securities Corporation, a Broker/Dealer and has held financial positions with a registered investment advisor and an asset management firm. He received his MBA in Finance from Pace University and a BS in Accounting from Fordham University.
Mr. Markley has over eight years of work experience at long/short equity funds, where his primary responsibility has focused on equity analysis. Previously, he worked at Helios Partners and G Core Capital, where much of his time was initially spent as a generalist, eventually transitioning to a greater focus within the industrial sector. Mr. Markley is also a CFA charterholder. He graduated from Indiana University in 2006 with a B.S. in Finance with high distinction.
Mr. Routson has over 40 years of experience in public policy, and environmental and natural resource issues. Prior to joining Water Asset Management, Mr. Routson was a shareholder and officer at RDO, one of America's largest private integrated agricultural and food processing companies, and worked closely with WAM on the Winnemucca investment. Prior to RDO, Mr.Routson served as the Director for Mission Activities, Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, Department of Defense. Mr.Routson served in both the Reagan and Bush Administrations as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy. Mr. Routson also worked for U.S. Senator Steve Symms, Idaho, from 1981 through 1988. Mr. Routson received a BA in Political Science and a JD from Brigham Young University, a BS in Forestry from the University of Idaho, and earned a MA in Government from Georgetown University.
Prior to joining Water Asset Management, Mr. Ruckdaschel was the Director of Acquisitions and Development at RMCI Group, Inc., a single family and custom home builder, where he identified, analyzed and structured real estate acquisitions. In addition he was responsible for managing the firm's Environmental Impact reporting. Prior to RMCI Group, Inc, Mr. Ruckdaschel was a research associate as The CoStar Group, Inc. He graduated from The University of New Mexico with a BA in Economics.
Prior to Water Asset Management, Mr. Vasquez was the Water Resources Coordinator at Diamond Ventures, assisting in the company’s development and wet utility divisions on all water-related transactions, entitlements, planning, regulatory and policy issues. He is actively involved in local and state water planning, including appointments to both Tucson Water’s Citizens Water Advisory Committee and the City/County Water and Wastewater Oversight Committee. Mr. Vasquez holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Arizona with a focus on land use and water resource management.
